BOSS Conference Speakers
The BOSS Conference is looking for a few good speakers.
If you have a topic that you’d like to present at our upcoming BOSS Conference, we want to hear from you. The BOSS Conference will feature two independent tracks—an Open Source Security Track and a Sourcefire Solutions Track. The following is a description of each track:
- The Open Source Security Track will feature presentations that embrace the use of open source security products. Presentations in this track should be technical in nature and should be constructed to educate IT security professionals on how to select, implement and use open source security products and technologies. This track will feature sessions related to open source projects managed by Sourcefire (e.g., Snort, ClamAV) as well as open source projects outside of Sourcefire’s domain.
- The Sourcefire Solutions Track will feature presentations by Sourcefire and members of the Sourcefire community (e.g., partners, customers, analysts) that provide insight into Sourcefire and complementary solutions that incorporate open source security technologies. Presentations in this track will comprise both technical and business topics, and are designed to educate Sourcefire customers and prospects on best practices for selecting, implementing and supporting Sourcefire solutions.
If you have a topic that you’d like to present, please complete a speaker application and forward it to Mike Guiterman using the instructions provided in the form. If you have any questions about Sourcefire’s speaker selection process, please call Mike at (410) 423-1930.
Deadline to submit speaker applications is July 15, 2008.
