Pre-Conference Training

Stick around after the conference to attend a Sourcefire or a Snort training class. The following four courses are available for registration now:

Sourcefire 360 Bundle (4 days)

Dates: February 11-14, 2009
Cost: $4,175*
This 4-day class includes the SFCP certification exam, taken online within 60 days after completion of course.

Snort 360 Bundle (4 days)

Dates: February 11-14, 2009

This 4-day class includes the SnortCP certification exam, taken online within 60 days after completion of course.

Rule Writing Best Practices Workshop (2 days)

Dates: February 11-12, 2009 and February 13-14, 2009
Cost: $1,890*

Sourcefire 3D 4.8 Upgrade (2 days)

Dates: February 11-12, 2009 and February 13-14, 2009
Cost: $1,890*

*Early bird discount expires November 30, 2008. Price will increase by $200 for 4-day courses and $100 for 2-day courses beginning December 1st.

Transportation
The New Horizons training facility is a short drive away from the Flamingo Hotel. Round trip bus transportation will be provided each day at no cost.

Hotel
Students wishing to stay at the Flamingo Hotel following the conference for training may do so at the conference rate of $129.00 per night (plus taxes or incidentals). (U.S. federal government employees are eligible for U.S. government rate.) This rate is valid from February 6 -14, 2009. Please refer to offer code ‘SFSUC9’ when placing your reservation or offer code ‘SFSUC9G’ if you are a U.S. federal government employee. Additional charges may apply for more than one guest per guest room.
